As reported on CNET, Mozilla Firefox recently passed one billion downloads, a number which includes updates people have fetched deliberately, not automatic updates, Mozilla said. To maximize the marketing potential, Mozilla also is now touting a new website called 1,000,000,000 + you.
Firefox has truly achieved real success, eating steadily into Microsoft Internet Explorer's dominant market share to become the second-most used browser. The newest version (Firefox 3.5) is downloaded between 40 and 60 times a second worldwide at present.

RIP GetDeb
Since 2009 or 2010, I've been using GetDeb PPA on my Linux installs to get a few extra programs that weren't available natively.
GetDeb was discontinued back in 2012 after a huge server crash. Several geeks banded together back then to rescue GetDeb and continue to make it available. Even that was prone to difficulty, with getdeb frequently being down.

Do you have a Tumblr? Let me know and I'll check it out.
DDD - Daily Deviation Drive
I've been trying to find my deviousness again, and I think I found something that works.
So I want to start something, so everyone can share in this devious idea. Let's do this and make it viral together.
RULES:
1. Make a Collections folder in your favorites called Daily Deviations.
2. Look in the Undiscovered gallery for amazing art. Focus on finding quality deviations; don't suggest just for the sake of suggesting.
3. Figure out which CV you need to suggest the deviation to! Check out FAQ #18: https://www.deviantart.com/help/18 - Who selects Daily Deviations and how are they chosen?
4. Be sure to read the CV's suggestion guidelines. Then suggest the under-appreciated but amazing art you found for a Daily Deviation.
5. If it gets
